Tony Yayo joins Shannon Sharpe at Club Shay Shay for a raw, unfiltered conversation about his life, his career in hip hop, and the brotherhood behind G-Unit. Yayo starts by comparing life in Europe to America, saying liquor tastes better, food is healthier, and there aren’t guns everywhere like in the U.S. Fresh off tour in Europe with Chris Brown in Manchester, he talks about how Washington D.C. feels dangerous today with residents scared to drive their own cars. Yayo reflects on growing up in the Southside of Jamaica, Queens, calling it the best borough in New York over Brooklyn and the Bronx. He shares that his parents are from Haiti, and explains how he got the name “Tony Yayo” from Scarface.
He dives into his upbringing, recalling his strict parents, and saying their divorce led him toward the streets and drug dealing. He remembers being robbed at gunpoint for a Starter jacket, his mom’s house being shot 22 times, and even had $100K thrown away by his mother.
Yayo reflects on hip hop beefs, loyalty, and survival. He says he’ll never be mad at DJ Khaled for siding with Fat Joe during the feud with 50 Cent. He remembers riding in a bulletproof truck riddled with bullets, the murders of PnB Rock and Pop Smoke, and why he prefers hanging with his lawyer over rappers. He recalls being harassed by hip hop police when G-Unit was labeled “the most dangerous rap group in the world.” He praises Eminem as his “favorite white boy in the world,” calls Dr. Dre one of the best producers, and says Eminem listens to details like “the footsteps in Poltergeist.” He talks about how Eminem’s cosign made Joe Budden’s career, how Kanye West was around before fame, and how 50 Cent would turn down million-dollar deals.
Yayo opens up about being starstruck partying with Mike Tyson, Venus and Serena Williams, Wesley Snipes, Samuel L. Jackson, the Kardashians, and even the owner of Ray-Ban. He recalls Mike Tyson telling him to expand his horizons, leading him to caviar. He talks about performing with Cash Money, almost signing J. Cole and Nicki Minaj to G-Unit, and Atlanta artists like Outkast, Jermaine Dupri, and Lil Jon. He says Biggie was a better songwriter than Ice Cube, praises Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Ghostface, Slick Rick, KRS-One, LL Cool J, and Heavy D, and discusses Nipsey Hussle’s death in his own neighborhood.
He reflects on modern rap and street culture — drill music glorifying murder, rappers like King Von, BloodHound Lil Jeff, and Q50 rapping about their crimes, and why kids today flaunt guns with switches on Instagram. He talks about Tekashi 6ix9ine snitching, Fat Joe enjoying Gunna’s music despite controversy, and whether Young Thug and Gunna might reconcile. He weighs in on Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar beef reminding him of Nas vs. Jay-Z and Tupac vs. Biggie, and why Beyoncé and Taylor Swift are the only artists making real money in streaming today.
From doing time in Rikers Island with Diddy’s bodyguard to meeting Donald Trump after jail, from charity work with the Knicks to investing in real estate, Yayo tells it all. He talks about loyalty, losing friends, being stabbed, doing Hot Ones as its first guest, and being starstruck by Nas, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, and John Cena. Through it all, he credits 50 Cent, Jay-Z, and Eminem for inspiring him to handle his money wisely — while never forgetting the streets that raised him in Queens.

NFL legend Sterling Sharpe joins Club Shay Shay for a powerful and emotional conversation with his brother, Shannon Sharpe — marking a historic moment between the first brothers to both be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Sterling opens up about their humble beginnings in Georgia, including growing up without running water, learning discipline from their grandfather, and how their grandma’s love and strength helped hold the family together. He reflects on the lessons their grandfather taught them — even though he never once said “I love you” — and why his passing was the most freeing day of Sterling’s life. At just $6 an hour, Sterling worked in the fields, often giving his paycheck to his grandma to help keep the lights and heat on.
In the second half of Sterling Sharpe's sit-down, the brothers reminisce about their early jobs, and how trying different things helped them figure out what they didn’t want to do. Shannon even learned to drive at 5 years old. Sterling shares how those experiences shaped his mindset as he chased his football dreams.
Though he dreamed of playing for Clemson, Sterling chose South Carolina (USC) for deeper connections — a school that would later retire his number, which he nearly unretired once for Duce Staley. He recounts being drafted in the first round, alongside Anthony Miller, Aaron Cox, and Anthony Jones, and thinking he was headed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before being drafted by the Green Bay Packers.
Sterling reflects on life in the NFL, including not knowing what the receiving “Triple Crown” was until Cooper Kupp achieved it. He shares how Jon Gruden once compared him to Michael Jordan, how fast Deion Sanders truly was, and how different the game looks now. Coaches and peers like Andy Reid believed that if Sterling hadn’t gotten hurt, he would’ve gone down as the greatest wide receiver ever.
Sterling also shares memories of playing alongside Terry Crews, his devastating injury, and how even Jerry Jones once asked him to make a comeback. Today, if given the chance, he says he’d love to play with Joe Burrow or Lamar Jackson. The episode ends with a reflection on his eye surgeries, life after football, and the journey that led him to his Hall of Fame moment.
This isn’t just a football story — it’s a story about family, sacrifice, legacy, and resilience. Don’t miss this rare, heartfelt sit-down between two legendary brothers.

In this episode of Club Shay Shay, Shannon Sharpe sits down with the one and only Amber Rose—a model, entrepreneur, activist, and media personality who has been a cultural force for nearly two decades. Amber opens up about growing up in South Philly, overcoming a tough childhood, and her early dreams of becoming an epidemiologist after witnessing the impact of HIV/AIDS in her community.
Amber doesn’t hold back as she shares her struggles with homelessness, her early days stripping at 15, and her journey into the world of video vixens and modeling. She speaks candidly about falling in love with Kanye West, love bombing, and how Kanye styled not just her, but also Kim Kardashian and his current wife, Bianca Censori. Despite everything, she admits she still has a special place in her heart for Kanye and reflects on their time together.
From her experiences in Hollywood’s elite circles to the harsh truth about the entertainment industry being purely transactional, Amber drops major gems about friendships gone wrong, co-parenting with Wiz Khalifa, and why she’s no longer a feminist. She also dishes on celebrity drama, from Cardi B & Offset’s public breakup to Draya & Jalen Green’s relationship.
Amber also revisits the infamous 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, where Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift’s speech to declare that Beyoncé’s Single Ladies deserved the award. She shares her thoughts on that controversial moment, calling it “crazy” that Taylor won over Beyoncé, and reflecting on her time with Kanye during that era.
She also opens up about her struggles during the COVID-19 pandemic, including postpartum depression, mental health battles, and finding out her boyfriend was cheating on her during one of the toughest times of her life.
Plus, Amber addresses plastic surgery, dating rumors, and wild industry parties, including what really went down at Diddy’s legendary events. She even gives her take on Drake’s criticism, Kanye’s controlling ways, and the entertainment industry’s biggest secrets.

Anthony Hamilton — Grammy Award-winning singer, multiplatinum songwriter, and one of the most soulful voices in modern R&B — joins Shannon Sharpe for a raw, emotional, and Southern conversation about music, manhood, heartbreak, and legacy. From the “born in a pot of collard greens” grit in his voice to the stories behind his biggest records, Anthony breaks down a life built on struggle, faith, and timeless storytelling.
He opens the episode performing “Charlene,” unpacking the real breakup behind it — waiting by the door, balancing ambition and love, and how men often hide behind their careers. Anthony talks about how long a partner should stand beside someone chasing a dream, the struggle of supporting a family with limited means, and why attention, not money, is the real love language.
After performing “Coming From Where I’m From,” he reflects on how growing up without his father pushed him to hustle harder, and how being adopted at 14 changed his life. He shares that his father didn’t return until right before his wedding — a reunion only made possible by his future wife. Shannon brings up viral memes about his music “sounding like walking home from work,” Flau’jae discovering “Charlene,” and Anthony realizing he’d officially become “old school.”
With “Her Heart,” Anthony discusses making mistakes, breaking promises, and how men grow emotionally. He opens up about crying as a man, why vulnerability is strength, and the meaning behind “I Cry.” Then the mood lifts as he performs “Cornbread, Fish & Collard Greens,” reflecting on why men rarely approach women anymore, social media replacing real connection, and the lost art of old-school flirting.
Anthony shares his favorite Southern dishes and his craziest food experiences before revisiting his early break as a background singer for D’Angelo. He performs “How Does It Feel,” shares lessons D’Angelo taught him, and remembers missing his final phone call. He opens up about D’Angelo’s pancreatic cancer, Angie Stone’s passing, their snowstorm sessions, and the heartbreak of their son losing both parents in one year.

Club Shay Shay sits down with one of the most accomplished and influential superstars in professional wrestling history, Seth Rollins, for a candid, in-depth conversation with host Shannon Sharpe that traces his life, career, and legacy inside and outside the ring.
Seth reflects on growing up in a small town in Buffalo, Iowa, being adopted at a young age, and the powerful role his stepfather played in his life. Despite what he describes as a “broken upbringing,” Seth credits strong male role models, unconditional love, and work ethic for shaping the man he is today. Seth opens up about learning more about his heritage through 23andMe and reconnecting with his biological family later in life. While he holds no resentment toward his biological father, Seth shares that they have never met in person and have had minimal contact, as his father has not shown interest in building a relationship. He does, however, remain in touch with his half sister, and credits the strong male role models in his life for giving him peace and perspective around that situation.
The conversation turns to the moment that changed everything—attending his first professional wrestling event at just five years old. Inspired by legends like Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, and Bret “The Hitman” Hart, Seth realized early on that you didn’t have to be the biggest athlete to become a star. At 14, he told his parents he was done with basketball and fully committed to becoming a professional wrestler.
Seth details his grind on the independent circuit starting at 17, the financial struggles of chasing his dream, and ultimately dropping out of college with his mother’s support to go all in. He discusses mentorship from Joey Mercury, nearly signing with TNA, and why he was willing to wait years for the opportunity to join WWE because it was the only place he wanted to be.
After moving to Florida to train, Seth breaks down the rise of The Shield alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, how social media amplified their momentum, and why their shocking breakup became a defining moment in wrestling history—launching all three men to the top of the industry.
Seth also discusses owning the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, wrestling through injuries, adapting as both a babyface and a heel, and learning to connect with audiences through storytelling, signature moves, and finishing sequences. He reflects on his relationship with Vince McMahon, iconic matches, and moments that shaped his career.
Seth reflects on his legacy, including his Mount Rushmore of wrestlers, evolving friendships—most notably his real-life fallout with CM Punk—celebrity crossovers entering the WWE ring, and crazy fan interactions. He also opens up about life with his wife Becky Lynch, fatherhood, and how they balance two demanding careers while raising a toddler. The episode closes with Seth sharing his thoughts on longevity in wrestling, his lifelong loyalty to the Chicago Bears, and his bold Super Bowl prediction.
This is a must-watch episode for wrestling fans, athletes, and anyone chasing a dream—proof that greatness is built through patience, resilience, and loving the journey.

Comedian and Netflix star Mark Normand joins Shannon Sharpe at Club Shay Shay for a hilarious and unfiltered conversation about growing up wild in New Orleans, grinding through the New York comedy scene, and building one of the most respected careers in stand-up today.
Mark opens up about his unconventional New Orleans childhood — growing up as the white family in a predominantly Black neighborhood inside a crumbling mansion his father purchased on a whim. He describes the constant break-ins, getting his bike stolen, and the surreal experience of having a cross-dressing Black man named Ennis as his nanny — who also happened to be the toughest person he'd ever seen. Mark reflects on the profound impact Ennis had on his life and the devastating news of his tragic death years later. He also shares the story of his family finally fleeing the neighborhood after a terrifying home invasion where his parents were tied up at gunpoint.
The conversation turns to how those early years shaped Mark's comedic instincts — learning quick wit from public school "snaps" culture before being sent to private Catholic school, where he discovered rich kids had their own set of far darker problems. Mark also gets candid about bedwetting well into his teenage years that he attributes to childhood trauma, how it resurfaced during his early drinking years, and why he'd rather go bald than deal with Propecia's side effects.
The discussion moves into relationships and dating — how his decade-long high school relationship faded when he moved to New York and went all in on comedy, how his wife showed up to one of his shows on a date with another man and DMed him after, and why Bill Burr telling him he wished he'd had a kid ten years earlier was the push he needed to change his life. Mark and Shannon also riff on dating apps, height preferences, the double standard between men and women, and why biology always wins in the end.
The episode dives into the craft and business of stand-up — from his influences like Carlin, Seinfeld, and Richard Pryor, to surviving at legendary clubs like the Comedy Cellar. He breaks down why great stand-up takes years to perfect, how his Kevin Hart stage persona came to life after a string of bombing sets, and the moment he actually performed the bit in front of the real Kevin Hart.
Shannon and Mark dig into current events — from the Epstein files and which powerful figures should be held accountable, to the racial politics of the Super Bowl halftime show, the Black national anthem debate, cancel culture, and what the Rodney King video started that cell phone cameras finished.
The episode closes with Mark getting jumped three times in his first year in New York — including being body-slammed by an old man in Crown Heights before a group of drug dealers stepped in to save him — and his reverence for Dave Chappelle as the greatest stand-up orator of his generation after a late-night hang at Chappelle's club in Ohio.

UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier sits down with Shannon Sharpe at Club Shay Shay for an unfiltered conversation about his legendary journey — from Lafayette, Louisiana to becoming one of the greatest fighters to ever step in the octagon.
DC reflects on his humble beginnings, being bullied as a kid, arrested for street fighting in college, and even trying and failing at selling fake crack before finding his path through wrestling. He explains how his wrestling background shaped his fighting style, why his 5’10” height gave him an advantage grappling, and how his first love of boxing through Wide World of Sports laid the foundation for his combat career. Despite not going to school for media, he became one of the most respected voices in sports, proving fans want authenticity and lived experience.
DC relives his iconic rivalry with Jon Jones, from brawling at their first press conference to being knocked out for the first time in his life. He recalls not remembering anything from the knockout to the ambulance ride, and Dana White sending him $1 million afterward. He details how Jones set him up with body kicks before the head-kick KO, why Jones is the most talented fighter ever but not the GOAT because of steroids, and why finding out about Jones’ failed tests felt like losing his first girlfriend. He says Jones wouldn’t beat him at heavyweight, wonders why he won’t fight Tom Aspinall, and insists Jon should fight at the White House so an American can actually win.
Cormier doesn’t hold back on today’s stars: praising Tom Aspinall, calling Derrick Lewis the “Knockout King,” and saying Francis Ngannou looks like the perfect heavyweight champion. He recalls Cyril Gane being starstruck in the ring with Jon Jones, predicts Jake Paul’s boxing ceiling, and weighs in on matchups like Jake Paul vs. Canelo Alvarez, Anthony Joshua, and Mike Tyson. He even explains why boxers can’t beat MMA fighters in a street fight.
On his personal Mount Rushmore, DC picks Demetrious Johnson, Georges St-Pierre, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Chuck Liddell, and Randy Couture — leaving off Anderson Silva and Jon Jones because of steroids. He shares why Khabib is the greatest fighter ever, how their friendship formed, and why Dagestan fighters like Khabib and Islam Makhachev are so dominant. He recalls Khabib turning down $40 million to fight again, explains why Conor McGregor’s money ruined his career, and calls Khabib vs. McGregor the biggest fight in UFC history.
Outside the octagon, DC talks about nearly playing football at LSU, cornering Herschel Walker, his run-ins with fighters like Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate, and Brock Lesnar (who he says he’d beat easily), and why he never wanted to join WWE despite the money. He also touches on his friendships with athletes across sports — from Christian McCaffrey, the Manning brothers, and Bronny James to Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Bonds, Vlad Guerrero Jr., and Tom Brady — and whether athletes’ kids can ever surpass their famous fathers.
Finally, DC gives Shannon insight into fight preparation, the science of recovery, and competing into his 40s like LeBron James, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He reveals how a simple sneeze before the Derrick Lewis fight ended his career, why even LeBron could face the same fate from one freak injury, and why a fighter’s legacy can change in a single moment.
From rivalries and weight cuts to family, fatherhood, and fighting for legacy — this is Daniel Cormier like you’ve never heard him before.

He drops his Mount Rushmore of R&B singers (Prince, Michael, Marvin, Stevie), reflects on Don’t Be Cruel selling 12 million copies, and gets candid about streaming's impact on artists, the importance of owning your masters, and surviving fame from a young age. He also opens up about being kicked out of New Edition, how predatory music deals cost him $30 million, and why going solo was the best decision of his career.
Bobby names his top four singing groups of all time—Gap Band, Jackson 5, New Edition, and Kool & the Gang—and reveals his best and worst purchases, including the wild story of spending $1 million in a single day. He reflects on the pain of being taken advantage of by family and friends, and the loss of one of his closest friends to gun violence. He also shares the pride of building his own studio—where artists like OutKast recorded.
From Donald Trump’s cameo in his “On Our Own” video to his run-ins with the law—including getting arrested for dancing with a fan in Georgia—Bobby tells it all. He talks about working with Martin Lawrence in A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, starring in Two Can Play That Game, and why he regrets turning down a role in Strictly Business with Halle Berry and Tommy Davidson.
Bobby looks back fondly on his time on Real Husbands of Hollywood with Kevin Hart, Nick Cannon, and Nelly, and opens up about the intense experience of his reality show with Whitney Houston. He also talks about being shot by an ex-boyfriend of his then-girlfriend—and his romance with Janet Jackson in the '80s. The R&B superstar shares his mission with the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House, a charity created in honor of his late daughter.
From the highest highs to the most heartbreaking lows, Bobby Brown proves once again why he’s not just a music icon—he’s a cultural legend. Don’t miss this powerful and unfiltered conversation.

Comedian and global touring star Gabriel Iglesias joins for a candid and hilarious conversation about fame, relationships, comedy, and the moments that shaped his career.
Gabriel opens up about the realities of dating and maintaining relationships while living a life on the road. As one of the most recognizable comedians in the world, he explains how constant fan interactions—sometimes happening every few steps in public—can create tension in relationships. Iglesias reflects on how fame complicates normal experiences like going out to dinner, and why partners have to understand the unique pressures that come with dating an entertainer.
The conversation turns to humor and attraction, with Gabriel joking that while abs may look good, a sense of humor is what truly wins people over. Known for making audiences laugh his entire life, he shares how comedy became his greatest asset—but also admits that personal struggles, including weight and avoiding difficult conversations in relationships, created challenges earlier in his life.
Iglesias then reflects on the moment he first discovered his comedic gift at just ten years old during a school talent show. Performing spot-on impressions of characters like Mickey Mouse, Ronald Reagan, and Pee-wee Herman, he stunned the audience and received a standing ovation—an experience that hooked him on performing long before he understood what stand-up comedy truly was.
Growing up, Gabriel found inspiration in the raw comedy he watched on Def Comedy Jam and BET's ComicView. Without many Latino comedians in the spotlight at the time, he gravitated toward stars like Martin Lawrence and D. L. Hughley, whose performances helped shape his understanding of stand-up. He even shares the surreal moment of finally meeting Martin Lawrence decades later and expressing how much his work meant to him.
Gabriel also talks about landing one of his early TV opportunities on ComicView and why young comedians should prioritize mastering the craft over chasing money or fame. For him, exposure and growth mattered far more than the small paycheck he earned at the time.
One of the most memorable stories comes from his first trip to New York to perform on Showtime at the Apollo at the legendary Apollo Theater in 1999, hosted by Steve Harvey. Gabriel recalls how brutally honest the Apollo audience was—and how he had to follow a fellow comedian who had just been booed off the stage. After advice from co-host Kiki Shepard about changing his outfit, Iglesias took the stage in a simple white T-shirt and delivered one of the best sets of his early career, earning a standing ovation.
He also shares the awkward aftermath of celebrating that huge moment while still sharing a hotel room with the comedian who bombed before him—and how even a second attempt at redemption at Carolines on Broadway didn’t go as planned.
Closes with Gabriel’s incredible career milestones—from selling out arenas worldwide to historic performances at venues like Madison Square Garden, Sydney Opera House, and Dodger Stadium—cementing the legacy of the comedian fans know and love as “Fluffy.”

Oscar De La Hoya sits down with Shannon Sharpe at Club Shay Shay for a conversation that explores the multifaceted layers of his life, career and boxing. Oscar reflects on his illustrious boxing legacy, emphasizing that while his achievements in the ring are significant, they do not entirely define him. He ranks himself among the greats of his generation but remains humble, placing himself second to last, just ahead of Canelo Álvarez.
Oscar delves into his iconic bout with Floyd Mayweather, expressing his conviction that he won the fight in spirit, if not by decision. He praises Floyd's unique qualities, including his intelligence and ring generalship, and credits Floyd Sr. as the best trainer Oscar ever had. Oscar explains why the Floyd vs Manny Pacquiao fight would've been better five years earlier than it happened and revisits his fight against Pacquiao, revealing the profound personal struggles he faced at the time, which made him feel as though he wanted to die during the fight.
The conversation shifts to the business side of boxing, where Oscar discusses the evolution of the sport and the increasing emphasis on money over consistent performance. Oscar also opens up about his transition into the world of promotions, driven by a desire to protect fighters and remain connected to the sport even as his own career waned. He also opens up about the time Jay-Z bet Oscar $250K that Miguel Cotto would beat Canelo.
The discussion turns to Oscar's current role as a promoter, including his work with Ryan Garcia. He expresses concern over Ryan's recent behavior and the impact of external influences on the young fighter's career. Despite the controversy, Oscar believes Ryan has what it takes to be great, as shown in his bout vs Devin Haney. Oscar also addresses his strained relationships with other fighting figures, including Canelo Álvarez and Dana White, candidly discussing the fallout and the personal toll it has taken on him.
As the episode draws to a close, Oscar reflects on his childhood, the trauma he endured, and how it shaped his drive to succeed. He reminisces about winning Olympic gold at the 1992 Olympics, a moment he considers the pinnacle of his career despite the immense pressure he faced following his mother's death. Oscar touches on the growing phenomenon of celebrity boxing, his thoughts on Jake Paul not taking "real" fights, and the idea of a potential fight between Jake and Canelo. Additionally, Oscar explains who would win in a boxing match if Drake and Kendrick Lamar's beef ever found its way into the ring and his answer may surprise you. Then, Shannon jokes about Oscar getting "Ai abs" and plastic surgery rather than earning his muscles in the gym.
Throughout the conversation, Oscar remains grounded, speaking candidly about his personal life, including his struggles with addiction and the lessons he's learned along the way. He contemplates his legacy, expressing a desire to be remembered not just for his accomplishments in the ring but for the person he is beyond boxing. Join Shannon Sharpe and Oscar De La Hoya for an episode filled with reflection, honesty, and the wisdom of a man who has seen and survived it all.
